New Members Cathedral Tours were organised in April for recently admitted members as a way of introduction to the Freemen and also to inform them of an initiative by the Development Group to establish a History Group as a vehicle to engage with the membership. The 2 groups were led by Iain Wilmshurst (Warden of the Currier’s Company) Works Manager for the Cathedral, who visited parts of the Cathedral that are not open to the general public that included, the Chapter House, Prison, Craft Workshops and preview of the soon to be opened multi million pound Open Treasure.
